I am extremely happy for being part of the Global Learning Medallion Project. I had so much fun and gained so much knowledge from this. I would definitely do it again if I had the chance. I was able to meet amazing people and go to amazing places on this journey. I enjoyed doing my Research Project, which helped me to understand a little bit more about Mental Health global issues.

 

I would like to thank the advisor who helped me through out the entire project, and my family who always supported me in everything. I will definitely use the knowledge I gained in my future experiences.

On a global scale, the level of unaddressed or undiagnosed health conditions continues to be high. Mental illnesses play a significant role to the Global Burden of Disease, as four out of the ten diseases with the highest burden are psychiatric.
